Every decision we make is shaped by a clear purpose — is it the best fit for the dog?
We do our very best to look at rehoming from the dog’s perspective.
Kale’s Story
For many, the most recent pandemic was a time of introspection and re-evaluation of what was important to us.
During this time, founder of Kale Me Crazy, Talia Hall, moved from New York, NY to Chapel Hill, NC with her daughter. The transition from city life to suburban life lead Talia and her daughter to consider adding a four-legged furry companion to their family. While visiting a local rescue organization, Talia asked the staff to meet the dog that had been overlooked time and time again, the one who was also their longest resident. And then the rest was history!
Kale was saved from the streets of Raleigh, fostered by a local rescue, and after a long journey, rehomed to the Hall family. Kale has transformed the way the Hall family looks at life. Today, Talia and her daughter approach their hectic schedules by remembering Kale’s perspective and being present, mindful, and savoring the simple joys of life.
From shelter to suburb, Kale is currently living his BEST life. He goes on daily hikes, naps by the fireplace, and sees his dog park friends often. Kale has been very successful in training his humans to fulfill his every wish. He lives, eats, and plays like his true self and the king he’s always been. They say it takes a village…he’s got the perfect one!
